At the start of level 6, you will have the opportunity to choose a degree pathway that aligns with your career goals, whether it’s the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE), Bar, or International Bar. We offer workshops detailing each pathway or course available with one of our partners, along with comprehensive guidance and support from our team, to help you make the right choice for your future. If you aim to qualify as a solicitor in the UK, this pathway provides the essential knowledge and skills required to successfully attempt SQE1. Additionally, you will have the chance to expand your expertise by choosing from a variety of elective modules.
Bar pathway
Designed for students aiming to qualify as a barrister, this pathway includes EU Law, a crucial subject required by the Bar Standards Board as part of the Foundations of Legal Knowledge. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to expand your expertise by selecting from a variety of elective modules.
International Bar pathway
With its internationally focused curriculum, this pathway is ideal for students who wish to practice law outside of the UK. The pathway follows a set syllabus, eliminating the need for additional optional modules, and culminates in the Legal Dissertation module. Entry requirements
Standard entry requirements
At least 3 x GCSEs or equivalent that are less than 3 years old, or
At least 3 x GCSEs or equivalent, over 3 years old, with an accompanying CV.
Applicants aged 21 and above, who may not meet the standard entry requirements, could still be eligible for admission if they have at least three years of relevant work experience. This experience should showcase transferable skills and knowledge, including effective communication, efficient time management, strong organisational abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

IELTS 5.5 (no less than 5.0 in any element); or TOEFL iBT 80; or equivalent
Alternatively, evidence you have previously studied in English, such as a letter to show that the Medium of Instruction was in English can be accepted.
